# THE HUNT public record methodology

THE HUNT publishes facts that can be reconciled to a canonical chain receipt or an allowlisted, read-only Alpha OS record.

Trading profit excludes deposits, withdrawals, transfers, airdrops, junk tokens, HUNT holdings, gas, and creator fees. Realized P&L requires a closed trade with reconciled cost, proceeds, fees, and receipts. Unrealized P&L requires explicit cost basis and a timestamped valuation source. Missing inputs are shown as RECONCILING, never replaced with zero.

The public wallet is shared infrastructure. Its native balance is not labelled strategy capital. Runtime status comes from a read-only heartbeat and fails closed when stale or unavailable. This website has no wallet, signer, trading, or administrative controls.
